THE SUNDAY GAME RULES - TSG

 

 

Sunday Game Rules:

 All Scratch Game rules apply to the Sunday Game except the following:

 

1.   In order to qualify to play in TSG  a player must  have a handicap index of 10.6 or less.

 NO EXCEPTIONS.

 

 

2.  If a guest wants to play in the game he must have the same verifiable handicap index.

 

 

3.  Picking order for TSG will be determined by the TSG Committee.

 

 

4.  Foursomes will be the preferred team size.

 

 

5.  Format of play  will be 3 individual best  balls of the foursome.

·      The 18 hole score of the 1^st  best ball of the team will be the First ball score.  

·      The 18 hole score of the 2^nd best ball of the team will be the Second ball score.

·      The 18 hole score  of the 3^rd best ball of the team will be the Third ball score.

 

6.  Maximun score  on a hole for any of the three balls will be 3 over par for that hole.

 

 

7.  Preferred team selection order will be down, down, up.  This maybe changed by  TSG Committee for competitive reasons.

 

 

8.  Only one ball will be allowed off the first tee. Reverse shotgun will be the preference for starting TSG.

 

 

9.   TSG wager will be $20 first ball, $20 second  ball, $20 third ball, $10 teams skins, optional $10 individual skins.

 

 

10.          If a team is a fivesome  only the one  ball of the  4^th and 5^th picked players may  be used on a hole.

 

 

11.          If a team scores four birdies on a hole the 4^th birdie will count toward the 1^st ball score.
