The Scratch Game was established at Orange Tree Golf Club in 1978 by Jan Everitt. The game is played on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday every week of the year. Consisting of foursomes playing two best balls using no handicap, shotgun start, putting the ball out and playing it down makes this a very unique game in the golf community.  The Scratch Game consists of over 100 members including many professional golfers.  The game is governed by a committee of 5 elected board members whose job it is to keep the tradition of the game intact and running smoothly.
